I woke up to this email yesterday morning from my friend the Rza. He is our doctor in tavi every year and works in the ER at UCLA. Some heavy shit and a strange way to start a day. So many of our worlds are turned upside down with this economy bull shit. But this puts it all into perspective……

windham/hunter
so i drove up to windham straight from vah beach in a snow storm. its pretty much sucked and took like 15 hours. i stopped in the city to pick up jilly and nick-man. and met bk and hey-man up there. Tyler and his old lady actually ended up coming to shred too which was radical. one night we decided to cook instead of going out. kev made his signature chicken parm which i havent had in like 8...

Puerto Rico
I was super stoked when I found out our sales meeting was going to be in Puerto Rico. You can usually count on getting waves there and November is pretty much the best time of the year. Our meetings were in San Juan which is a cool little city. But the surf sucked. Every day the wind was blowing side/on shore at least 30 knots. Finally the last day we got over it and went to surf a outer reef only...
